A series of articles and comments appeared on this site between 20 October 2012 and 2 November 2012 about Canberra Times journalist Noel Towell and his professional conduct. The RiotACT accepts that it has no evidence that Mr Towell failed to act with professional or personal integrity during his coverage of the recent ACT election.
The RiotACT sincerely regrets and apologises for any allegation or imputation it has published that Mr Towell failed to act with integrity. The RiotACT also apologises to Mr Towell for all personally abusive material contained in the articles and the posts and regrets any distress caused by the series of articles and related comment.
