Professional artists looking to increase their skills should take note, ArtsACT is running a mentorship program in 2014.
JUMP Mentoring supports creative arts practitioners in the first five years of their professional practice to work on an applied mentorship with a mentor of their choice. JUMP is open to artists, music and theatrical producers, writers, editors, and curators in any of the Australia Council for the Arts supported artforms, including dance, theatre, literature, music, visual arts, emerging and experimental arts and community partnerships.
Individuals can apply for up to $10,000 and groups can apply for up to $20,000. Through JUMP, they may apply for fees to work on their mentorship, funds to support additional professional development and for costs towards a creative project developed with their mentor as part of the mentorship.
Applications close 9 September 2013.
