the tunnel

The Commonwealth Avenue underpass near the Albert Hall is a relic of a bygone age.

So it will be intriguing to see what “The Tunnel Project” does with the space:

You are invited to witness…

THE OPENING OF THE PORTAL…

Within the pedestrian underpass underneath Commonwealth Ave, near Albert Hall.

On Sunday November 10.

Between 4.30 and 6.00pm.

Experimental/fringe performers will transform the underpass beneath Commonwealth Ave…

…weaving a transdimensional world of words, movement, music and installation art, which you are invited to explore…

…before the portal closes, and is never seen again.

***The above image is courtesy of Victoria Lees, who will be transforming the underpass with her installation magic: http://victorialees.com/installations-2/just-chillin-net-installation/

If you would like to know more about our Tunnel Project artists and their work, be sure to ask our Phae attendants on the day.

The Tunnel Project is part of Changing Places.

Changing Places is a project of the Mental Health Foundation ACT that explores the relationship between mental health and place, by staging artistic interventions in places Canberra people have identified as affecting their mental health in any way.
