I have just purchased a 2nd hand caravan and I am looking for recommendations (good or bad) for places in Canberra that do service and modifications. I’m already aware of Lloyds (Pride) and Jayco Queanbeyan but have found little information on the quality/price of their work. Any help appreciated.

Try Leigh Baddeley on Mobile 0411088629. He is a great bloke, comes to your house, talks through good maintenance strategies and is very reasonable.

I can recommend Lloyds. They did repair work on my Avan.

I posted a comment on their Facebook page after receiving excellent service.

They also gave me advice on selling my van (privately) which I appreciated.

Hi Davo. I took my windsor caravan to Pride / Lloyds Caravans. I just wanted them to look over it prior to embarking on a 3 month holiday. They did a good job. Checked over everything, gave some recommendations on things I may need to consider in the future. It did take me nearly 3 weeks to book in – however this may have just been down to the time of year (leading up to Christmas). From memory it cost $280 – but this will depend on the size etc. Most servicing I have had done is on an hourly plus parts rate.
