Ask RiotACT: Cat proof fencing

Ask RiotACT

Hi Rioters.

Are there any businesses or tradies in Canberra that install cat proofing to fences? Have seen angled steel mesh and rollers used on some fences.

Keen for any suggestions or recommendations!

I build purpose built cat enclosures using netting. Can build connecting tunnels and towers too if needed to link to cat doors. 170+ built to date covering all kinds of circumstances. See MrPetman.com

Spindles on top of fences work in specific situations only. I’ve had clients fit these and their cats still find a way out. Cats are smarter than we think. Total enclosure is the safest.

And I've seen Catnets on FB that you install yourself.

There's a guy on FB called Mr Petman or something who does cat enclosures.

Occilot cat proofing you put on top of your fences and they can't jump over them.
