Hi Rioters,
Asking on behalf of a mate who’s keen to make his own cheese (apparently it’s not as difficult as I thought, but what would I know? I only know how to eat it).
He’s been on the hunt for cheesecloth in Canberra but has so far been unsuccessful. A few recommendations would be much appreciated.
Help a budding cheesemaker out?
Thank you in advance!

Super cheap auto
Lincraft
Chux also works well.
Blessed are the cheesemakers
Last time I bought it from Addicted to Fabric
It’s just muslin. Look for plain muslin at any of the fabric stores mentioned.
My wife got some at Lincraft last week.
I made paneer for the first time the other day and used a pillow slip. Worked a treat.
Beer butts and brew Casey for all cheesemaking needs
they are also at kaleen
Spotlight, Lincraft & essential ingredient
Lincraft ( fabric stores) should have it.
Essential Ingredient?
Salvos - old 70s dresses.
😆😊
Try the Essential Ingredient in Kingston. I was able to find rennent there to make mozzarella, and they had a small collection of other cheesemaking equipment. It took me a long time to track that down, so cheesemaking doesn’t seem that popular in Canberra.
