Aubergine

Griffith fine dining favourite Aubergine has retained its two chefs’ hats in the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide for 2017, with nine of the 28 regional restaurant single hats going to the same Canberra restaurants as last year.

The Canberra winners of single hats were Courgette, eightysix, Lanterne Rooms, Lilotang, Monster Kitchen & Bar, Ottoman Cuisine, Pialligo Estate Farmhouse, Temporada, and Waters Edge.

Aubergine reopened in early July after a revamp.

Restaurants in our region that collected hats include Biota Dining at Bowral (two hats), Eschalot Restaurant at Berrima, Lolli Redini at Orange, Rick Stein at Bannisters in Mollymook and Zanzibar at Merimbula.

The awards were held in Sydney last night. See the full list of hatted restaurants here.
