Sunday June 7 2009 will see Australia’s first ever prize fight Open weight judo competition. It will be held in Canberra at the Southern Cross Stadium, Athllon Drive, Tuggeranong.
Details are as follows:
- Rules: International Judo Federation competition rules apply
Competitors: Open weight
Prize money: 1st $2000 – 2nd $1000 – equal 3rd $500 each – equal 5th $250 each
Fight duration: 3 minutes; Competition starts from 6pm
People who wish to attend may purchase the following tickets:
Company packages are available from $500 securing 5 mat-side seats, finger food and alcohol. Individual VIP tickets are also available from $120 per person. Entry and stadium seating will be $20 per person.
