Nominations for the Telstra ACT Business Women’s Awards opened last week, aimed at acknowledging the achievements of business women across the territory.
“We are encouraging businesses across Australia… to nominate women they feel would be deserving of such a prestigious award, and, of course, women can nominate themselves,” said Joe Pollard, the Chief Marketing Officer of Telstra.
The award, in its 23rd year, is the oldest such awards in the territory.
“You will meet brilliant, inspiring women who will know how you feel and have answers to your many questions and are generous in their offers to help,” said Dr Nicole Sides, winner of the 2016 award and founder of the fertility clinic Compass Fertility.
Telstra is encouraging women to self-nominate, saying that more than 20 per cent of entrants are self-nominated.
