They were better with Laurie? Perhaps “Bring back Rod!” would be better…although I still thing Friendy deserves more of a run than 5 games (3 of which we won remember) before we call for his sacking.

Nothing like staying up til 4am to watch the worst team in S14 history fluke a win against a team who played for 20 minutes. Gerrard, Alexander and Salvi should get the entire team’s match payments while Holmes should be sent back just so we can’t pick him next week. Horrible game, not much more to say…

I think the main aim for the rest of this year should be develop the team for when Giteau comes back next year.

Especially if Mortlock is out for some time.

The Brumbies cannot win in SA. They prove it every year. The Lions are shithouse. If we can’t beat them at home but sorry, my hopes for them this year just died

I was unfortunate enough to watch the game. The Brumbies actually did show up to play; their intensity was good. They dominated possession and territory but couldn’t convert that into points. JB hit the nail on the head – lack of penetration. This is a coaching issue.

Ben Alexander and Gerrard were exceptional for the Brumbies.

I’m no doctor but i’d be amazed if if Mortlock hasn’t done his ACL.

You can’t lose to the Lions and expect to make the finals.

Had enough ball to win twice, but just could not hold on to it. The ball handling was just atrocious. I lasted until the 60 minute mark then gave up in disgust.
