Can anyone recommend a leather worker in Canberra?

By Masquara - 5 October 2012 4

I have a handmade leather bag that needs different (longer) straps – the current ones are set in, in brass fittings, so I’m probably needing to look for an expert leather worker.

Any recommendations?

What’s Your opinion?

Definitely Jim’s Leather Craft in Latham. We’ve used him several times to make up some retro items for us from scratch. Outstanding work.
He’s listed in the Yellow Pages – 6254 6878.

Maybe try the cobbler in Green Square, Kingston (if they’re still there). They’re a traditional cobbler, so they may be able to help out or recommend someone else.

Maybe try the leather works out at Bungendore. At the very least they might know someone in the Canberra region who can help.
