The 2014 Australian Startup Awards were held last Saturday at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney. Hosted by The Entourage, the awards recognise business excellence and celebrate the achievements of Australia’s top entrepreneurs under 40.
Local Canberra start up Red Robot showed off their entrepreneurial skills when they took out the Hilton Product Business of the Year Award.
Red Robot is the brain child of Duncan Amos and Phil Preston, who are revolutionising the manufacture of mobile portable photo booths with ‘cutting edge photo sharing products’.
Phil Preston was delighted to be named winner of the award and said, “being an Australian innovator, manufacturer and exporter is not easy but well worth it.”
