I recently hooked up with a pleasant crowd of Kite Flyers whose focus is primarily high performance kite flying, but activity work with and promote kite flying with children, dual line stunt fliers, single line fliers and generally anyone interested in flying kites. Thry promote a fun family experience in a safe friendly atmosphere.
But I joined them because they have great fun being dragged around in 3 wheeled buggies at high speed.
My other half likes them because they encourage me to learn how to do it safely, which is far better than my self taught efforts at Kite Surfing.
They are a non profit group of kite fliers, based in Canberra, who are interested in increasing the public interest in kite flying.
