The Canberra Times has got a story on a survey of Sydney-siders attitudes to Canberra as a precursor to an advertising campaign . I like the way they used “less frantic pace of life” as a euphemism for “boring” and span it as a positive.
Apparently we’re about to spend up to 150,000 telling people in Sydney’s South and South-West that they should come move to more expensive real-estate in a smaller city. Much like Adelaide’s slightly pathetic campaign, only without the low cost of housing.
