(from www.dendy.com.au)

X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the first chapter in the X-Men saga, unites Wolverine with several other legends of the X-Men universe, in an epic revolution that pits the mutants against powerful forces determined to eliminate them.

Less Iron Man, more The Incredible Hulk in terms of a quality comparison to recent superhero blockbusters. If all you want is things blowing up and Hugh Jackman’s bum, then you’ll be satisfied, but those who like a little bit of effort put into the script and story had better look elsewhere.

Group rating: three-and-a-half stars (out of five).

The Movie Discussion Group meets once a week in Canberra to see a movie and then go for coffee afterwards to discuss. There are no membership fees. For more information, or to join our emailing list, email movie_group@yahoo.com.au

The movie sucked!

Big time.

Special effects were rubbish and they completely wrecked the character of Deadpool!

And now they’ve set it up so their crappy version of Deadpool could potentially have a spin-off movie, double-blasphemy!!!

Personally I think Glenn Danzig would have made a far better Wolverine than Hugh Jackman! haha!

An absolutely sh*t movie.

Don’t waste your money.

Good film, but if they stuck to the original storyline it would have been better.
