Don’t worry about the little people here who fall over themselves to rubbish everything that they don’t like. Apparently if you do anything other than living on your computer trying to out do the last post you are an imbecile but anyway…

I went to Bridget Pluis, who is quite well known and had a nice time. She told me some interesting things and I was happy to pay someone to tell me things that I wanted to hear. She told me a couple of things that were a bit too accurate, confirming that if she isn’t psychic, then she is incredibly intuitive. I expect the former, due to the nature of her information. She was recommended by many others and I found her in the phone book.

If astrology is so good, how come my mate (who was born same year, just three days before me, Capricorn) had his wife leave him for another guy, his car broken into, and managed to stab himself in the arm with a screwdriver whilst fixing a shelf, on the same day as I won $500 on the lottery?

I’d actually like to go and see if she can tell me the names of my dead brothers and confirm this by telling me things only I’d know about them but I have a suspicion I’d be wasting my dollars.

every decision we make has its consequences. they change the path our lives take. I enjoy the not knowing aspect of my life. If an astrologer is correct in what happens to my life, I still believe that it is purely coincidence.

I won’t base my decisions on what a psychic or astrologer tells me. if the prediction is accurate, I will be surprised, but not overly worried.

A many moons ago I was living with The Worst Boyfriend Of All Time but not doing anything to get myself out of the bad situation. A girlfriend organised a visit to a psychic for a group of us as a bit of a lark.

I was told that I would find myself engaged and married to TWBOAT within six months and start popping out his babies. I went home, digested what I had just been told and broke up with TWBOAT that weekend. I do too. no fate but what we make. destiny and predetermined future outcomes are all well and good, but if a psychic can predict the time and date of your death, accurately, why would you bother to work hard and raise a family. some things need to be a mystery.

woody, as I keep saying, it is all done for a bit of a fun birthday present. Milton black is pretty good at what he does, and his predictions have been fairly accurate. I know what he requires for a personal reading, as the star charts at your day / time and year of birth are specific – maybe it is a sham, or not, i don’t know. Astrologers are not psychics. if they were, they would be called psychics.

Maybe because they really can see the future, and therefore know they won’t win the prize. Or better yet, they know they won’t enter the contest, so for that reason, they don’t.

It appears that hundreds have lined up to try and fluke the million dollars. I suppose some of them are confident frauds, others delusional.

Gosh, we have a psychic who could have told some parents of local P platers not to let their kids drive on a particular night, and several people would be alive and healthy today who are now dead or seriously injured.

A psychic who could have prevented the murders of recent years, or even told a guy not to go drunk with a sandbag to a certain bar because he’d get stabbed to death, but instead of making huge changes in the lives of people and their relatives they’re pissing away their skills predicting twins.

I’m so underwhelmed.

1) Throw enough mud at a wall, and some of it will stick, especially if it is what your recipient _wants to hear_.
2) The probability of a theoretical event is altered by the action of making a prediction of that event, through the desires, context, motivations, and connections of the listener\s and the predictor.

milton usually gets it right. every reading i have had has had an eerie accuracy.

There was a woman who read the cards upstairs from caphs, in manuka, she was very good and very accurate.

I get a reading once a year from milton for my birthday present. it is a bit of fun, but the prediction that my second child would actually be twins – months before the ivf cycle, was uncanny.

“Accurate” and “psychics” is an oxymoron.
