On Tuesday, 19 September 2006, IBN News published a story that said Grant Broadcasters had assumed 51% of the shares in Capital Radio Network.
This is incorrect.
Grant Broadcasters owns 50%: Kevin Blyton owns the other 50% through his company Creekside Investments, which owns 49% and 1% of Capital Radio shares respectively.
Furthermore, Steve Swadling is not and has never been a director of the company, and Kevin Blyton’s correct title is managing director.
IBN News apologises to the Capital Radio Network for the error.
