It’s only 10 sleeps until Cell Block 69 return to sunny Canberry to show Canberrians just how awesome Cell Block are in Rock (and to a lesser extent – synth pop) concert.
The Canberrian mayor has also announced a display of fireworks to be held on Lake Burley Griffin, in honor of Cell Block 69’s triumphant return. Obviously planned carefully, these fireworks will take place before Cell Block 69’s second show in the World Famous Spiegeltent on the Senate rose garden lawns of Old Parliament House on Saturday March 16th. The Canberrian mayor stated that it just wouldn’t be fair to the fireworks to be put in a situation where they would be outshone by the sheer radtastical awesomeness of Corey. And Corey. And Corey, Corey and Corey and……
These two shows are an extremely rare event as fans will no doubt recall Cell Block 69 going into recluse on December the 24th last year. Fans will also recall when tragedy struck the already limb severed Corey RoKK SiXXXxxXXX when he lost a leg to a fresh water shark whilst surfing the tubes at Canberry’s famous Murrumbidgee beach breaks late last December.
Despite now having endured surgery to replace three limbs in total, Rokk SiXXXxxXXX is back stronger than ever. He can’t wait to show his new leg to Cell Block’s Canberrian fans. Like all things Cell Block 69, it’s spectacular ! Maybe he’ll even confirm the rumors circulating about how it was apparently grown in a stem cell experiment using DNA taken from the leg of Usain Bolt. This rumor does make quite a lot of sense as Usain has frequently announced his adoration of Cell Block 69 – according to other circulating rumors.
Cell Block 69 will brave the media and the ensued hysteria not once but twice again for the people of Canberry.
