Shiny new MLA Chris Bourke is letting us know that despite being a backbencher in one of the smaller parliaments in the land he’s at the Australian Health Ministers’ Conference acting as a Health Minister:
Dr Bourke said, “Yesterday started with a meeting of the Australian Health Workforce Ministerial
Council (AHWMC) which discussed workforce issues particularly those relating to the National
Registration and Accreditation Scheme.“The Australian Health Ministers’ Conference followed and a range of important matters was discussed
at length including health reform.…
“As this was my first ministerial council meeting, I was impressed with the range of topics covered and
the detail involved in many of the discussions.”
Not long for the back bench we’re willing to bet.
