ACT Holden Day Show n Shine

Parliament House Lawns, Canberra

Come and join our Canberra Branch members, in this all Holden event, being held on the lawns of Parlaiment House, Canberra. We’ll be travelling down on Saturday, 8th Sep 07 and will organise a dinner/drinks on the Saturday night. We’ll also be organising, either a tour of the War Memorial or Parliament House, so keep your eyes on this sight for more information.

Check out our great set up! Lots of stalls with quality gifts, craft, embroidery, hand made jewellery, recycled timber items, fishing gear, stained glass and knits. We have locally grown plants and garden ornaments, plus BBQ, fresh produce, hand made snacks and drinks, hot and cold.

Visit the Lions tent for cakes and goats milk soap. The ACT Mobile Library visits every Market. Gold coin entry helps fund Lions local projects. Disability Parking available.

Platypus Perfectus – Ranger Guided Activity

Have you ever seen a platypus? A Platypus is a very shy, secretive animal that is difficult to see in the wild.

Join a Ranger to search for this elusive animal and, if we’re lucky, we might just catch a glimpse of one.

Please wear sturdy shoes, warm clothes and bring some binoculars.

Meet the ranger at the Brush-tailed Rock-Wallaby car park at the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve.
