So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it’s sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same in a relative way but you’re older,
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.

— Pink Floyd, Time

On the bright side… It’s the weekend.

What’s worth seeing and doing around town?

Just leave your ideas in the comments.

I saw a man with an awesome hat walk up to the ‘poster wall’ this morning at about 8am. He grabbed his mobile out and took a pic then walked away. Was that you Mr Johnboy? If so, love the hat! If not, you should get a groovy hat.

Why yes, that was probably me. Not a mobile though, it’s a dedicated camera.

Glad you liked the hat.

In response to Johnboy’s juxapositioning of existentialist crisis Pink Floyd lyrics against hedonistic weekend optimism, I’d like to offer the advice of one of my favourite writers:

“Always be yourself. Unless you suck.” Joss Whedon.
