For all olive oil enthusiasts out there Frank from Morella Grove (central NSW) will be doing a tasting of his Olive oil and the delicious caramelised balsamic tomorrow (sat) morning at the Choku Bai Jo store in Nth Lyneham from 9.30 to midday. Morella Grove was in the front of last wednesdays(May 6th) Food & Wine suppliment in the Canberra Times.

Wotz On – Celluloid Edition

Arc – it’s Voss weekend, with movies inspired by or related to Patrick White’s novel VOSS. Tonight it’s Stuart Cooper’s OVERLORD, Saturday afternon it’s Jim Sharman introducing his Australian classic THE NIGHT, THE PROWLER, and Saturday evening it’s John Gielgud in PROVIDENCE.

ANU Film group – Friday night it’s an Irish double (of sorts). First up, Colin Farrell in PRIDE AND GLORY, then it’s the classic Oscar-winning John Ford film about the IRA, THE INFORMER, starring Victor McLaglen. Saturday night it’s weepy Will Smith in SEVEN POUNDS followed by werewolves and vampires in UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS. Both screenings start promptly at 8pm, membership available at the door from $15.
