DIY Wotz-On Guide Oct 9-11

By RiotPost - 8 October 2009 12

If the last few days weren’t ‘Canberra Spring’ enough for you it looks like we are in for more 80%+ humidity days (i.e.: drizzle) and just above freezing nights this weekend. So for me at least I think (once again) I’ll be giving Floriade a miss.

But for those of more hearty dispositions; what are the events that are going to draw you out of the house this weekend?

What’s Your opinion?

+1 for Teddy Bear’s picnic. Went with LoveBumps and her kids last year and it was a fun day out.

And it should be sunny! Bureau of Meteorology are now bidding:

Sunday Mostly fine. Min 2 Max 17
Monday Mostly fine. Min 4 Max 21

Would be wonderful if that 21 degrees came in a day earlier, instead of being wasted on a Monday.

Wow! That is seriously cool! Yeah, we had a good night. We expected it to be dead given the long weekend but it was okay.

You’re lucky though, we almost didn’t play it as we didn’t want to do any covers 😉

All the best, hope to see the young bloke on stage one day doing his own material…

Got the 13 yo jazz bass player down to Filthy’s last week for the Feltons. And, miraculously, “Come Together” has finally convinced him to leave Mingus and Hancock aside for long enough to have a serious listen to the Beatles!
