Dog vs Plane; Plane wins

ABC has a bizarre story about a Virgin passenger jet colliding with a dog while landing at the Canberra Airport on Friday.

Those who know tell me there’s no way a dog could damage a plane, but just the same, I’m pleased I wasn’t on the plane to find out.

JD, if I risked the lives of up to 180 people, well I’d expect to lose my job too, a-hole!

Nice call Mr Evil, i hope next time you make an error in your life the consequences are serious for you… ah sole

I hope the baggage handler has lost his job over this cock up, as this incident could have had much greater consequences if the dog had been sucked into one of the engines.

Even at fairly low power a turbofan like that found on a 737 still has quite a wide danger area around the front of it.

the beast might have been sucked into the planes engine – god knows how that would have ended up!

All over the windows.

Surely the headline should have been “Plane bites dog”

Damn, that’s awful. Poor little pup…

It’s just lucky that the dog was hit on the runway. If it had happened on appraoch the beast might have been sucked into the planes engine – god knows how that would have ended up!

Was the pilot hoping for a three-pointer landing?

Hmm, I think a dog could do plenty of damage – given that a roo can damage a car and a bird can bring down a plane.

It was a run(a)way.

Sorry Pandy & Jonathan Reynolds, paperboy beat you both to it with the story…

Losing your dog after a baggage handling mishap – what a bitch!

U stole my story changing the bad puns in the process paperboy!!
