This is a community announcement for those of you who appreciate a burger and a bargain: McDonald’s Manuka is celebrating its reopening today after a revamp with $1 cheeseburgers (limited to four per customer) and a series of giveaways.
Raw FM is already on site with a DJ to add to the festivities, and arguably the most famous ranga in the world, Ronald McDonald, will be on hand from 11am till 1pm, too.
I’ll be there later this morning, ordering my favourite combination on the menu, one usually reserved for road trip stopovers – a serve of guacamole and salsa “loaded fries” countered with a healthy garden salad.
The best thing I’ve ever eaten there was a limited edition dish that consisted of jalapeño and cheese and was also deep fried. Definitely a sometimes rather than an everyday food. What it was called? Does anyone else remember it?
