ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at a food store in Weston last night (Thursday, January 23).
Around 10:15pm, a man entered Domino’s Pizza on Trennery Street, armed with a machete and demanded cash from the staff. The staff complied and the man fled the store. He was last seen running towards Brierly Street.
The male is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 183cm (6’) tall and of a medium build. His face was covered at the time of the incident.
ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations officers are investigating the incident. Police are canvasing nearby businesses for any available CCTV.
