Audrey Napanangka centres on Warlpiri woman Audrey, a mentor for young people in Central Australia, together with her Sicilian partner, Santo. Having lived through periods of significant change and upheaval caused by colonial systems, Audrey teaches those in her care to walk in many worlds through culture, language and Law, alongside mainstream education.

Filmed over a decade across Mparntwe (Alice Springs), Yuendumu and Audrey’s Warlpiri Country (Mount Theo), Audrey Napanangka is a powerful and intimate documentary about kinship and family.

‘…an expansive yet intimate portrait of a family’ – Artshub
