Ever wanted to try dragon boating? Dragon Boat ACT is holding 2 free come and try days for anyone interested over the age of 12 years.

There’ll be a free BBQ, music and opportunities to have a go on a dragon boat. All paddling equipment will be provided, no experience necessary.

Dragon Boating is about immersing yourself into a culture of community, commitment and determination!

With 20 paddlers to a boat, it’s not the fittest or strongest team that succeeds on the water – it’s the team that works as a single force.

The sport was introduced to Canberra in 1990 by a few individuals keen on developing the sport and culture of dragon boats. Since its introduction to the community, dragon boating has become a successful sport in Canberra, enjoyed by all ages.
