The Mike Baker Organ Trio is a Goulburn-based music group presenting a tasty repertoire of funky, swinging tunes in the authentic organ trio format (organ+guitar+drums) popularised by artists such as Jimmy Smith and Richard “Groove” Holmes in the 1950s and 1960s. It is music which is always upbeat and soulful. Members Mike Baker on organ, Garth Prentice on guitar and Thomas Dawson on drums are all seasoned players with backgrounds in music education. Together they keep the organ trio tradition alive by recreating the timeless groove-based standards of the day, while at the same time restyling more contemporary material in a manner reflecting their own creative impulses.
Isy Cappo, your local Hume Conservatorium Scholarship holder, is a 16 year old Singer Songwriter. With having released 5 singles onto all music platforms, her songs range from Ballads to Indie pop genres! Join her and her band at the 2021 Hume Conservatorium Homegrown Concert to hear her and her bands originals live AND also her upcoming single released on 28 August!
The Rich Pitcher began their journey in Goulburn NSW as an acoustic duo in 2014. Wanting to develop a bigger sound, The Rich Pitcher has since expanded to a 5-piece band and are a local powerhouse known for energetic live performances. Bringing their own unique twist to popular songs, The Rich Pitcher have predominantly been performing covers in local venues and at private events. After years of performing music created by other artists, The Rich Pitcher are taking on the original music scene. Thady, Corey, Nick, Andy and Rich – The Rich Pitcher.
