Have you been stuck in the house, feeling alone during the various stages of COVID-19 restrictions?

Knits N Bits is a group of like-minded CIT students studying Community Development / Community Services and Mental Health, Alcohol and Drugs and/or Youth Work.

So many people seem to be staying indoors and there are now reports arising of increased mental health issues around feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Knits N Bits are attempting to alleviate this with a very casual social gathering for people that would like to get out of the house for a few hours once or twice and week and create some sewing/knitting/crochet craft with other like-minded individuals.

It is a chance to get to know other people in the community, form relationships, have a cuppa and a chat, learn new skills and hopefully make lasting friendships. Knits N Bits welcomes all ages, genders, ethnicities, beliefs and skill levels. They use donated supplies for most hand sewing projects and can teach most crafts.

Numbers are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions, so contact Nikki on 0432 967 578 or Kylie on 0449 231 315 or send Knits N Bits a message through their Facebook page.
