Kiddos, grandies, coolios, it’s time to play with paint. This is no little picture-painting-in-a-quiet-gallery day: we are getting big and messy.
Haig Park’s biggest canvas will weave around the park and above Lonsdale and Mort Streets, for everyone to make a massive artwork together. We have your tools ready and waiting!
Come and enjoy:
- Spray painting facilitated by local artist Graffik Paint
- Bucket paint pendulums
- Hand and body paints
- Charcoal
- Rothko-inspired paint throwing
- Brush painting
- Anything-but-brush painting (a stick, your nose, your brother’s foot)
- Note for parents: all paints are water-based, but we recommend avoiding fancy clothes
Paint Outside Day will also feature:
- Suitcase Rummage (sign up below)
- Face painting
- Teeny-Tiny-Mini Museum
- Paint Pablo
- Box city
- Bubbles
- Coffee
- Street food
- Zierholz Brewery
- Live music on the Soul Defender
- Ready to have some fun with colour? Make sure you don’t miss Paint Outside Day.
