RUST: an environmental pop-up gallery

RUST: an environmental pop-up gallery is on Saturday 19 June 2021 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Image: RUST.

RUST is a free-to-attend environmental pop-up gallery, celebrating a diverse selection of local and interstate artists. You will have a chance to meet the artists and make bids in a silent auction.

RUST is intended to strike reflection about where we have come from and where we will go. Is it right to be optimistic about tomorrow? Or will we be trampled under the ongoing march of machinery?

Artistically, this will be exhibited in pieces that have brought new life into relics of the past, or provoke thought into the future. This will be thematically represented in recycled, modern and postmodern art.

As much as possible, the voices we seek to platform are those from diverse backgrounds, offering many perspectives to be considered.

In our own small way, the RUST team seeks a better world. This event is not-for-profit and all proceeds will be donated to helping the environment.

Note: BYO, glassware provided.
