Fundamentals of Colour is a 6-week exploration of colour at Tuggeranong Arts Centre.
If you find colour mixing baffling and can’t quite mix the right tone or want to expand on your understanding of colour theory, this workshop is for you. Open to painting beginners or those wanting to extend their skills, join artist Sarah Murray in a judgment-free, safe space, where you can engage with fellow creatives and create art in the community. All materials are provided, including paints, paintbrushes, and paper.
Sarah Murray is an artist based in Canberra, Ngunnawal country, working primarily in drawing and painting. Their work explores a bodily experience of landscape, engaging the body within the time, space and place of the land. Sarah’s gestural and immersive works are made both in the studio and outdoors in the landscape. In 2021 Sarah graduated the ANU School of Art and design with first-class honours and since has been involved with various shows around Canberra and interstate.
