Jerrabomberra Wetlands is Canberra’s home to abundant bird life including the remarkable Latham’s Snipe. We are a unique conservation area of just over 200 hectares, adjacent to Lake Burley Griffin.

Bring your little ones to the Wetlands for a fun morning out. We’ll take you on a discovery trail around the wetlands, share some Australian picture books, and explore nature linked to the stories through hands-on activities. We do messy arts and crafts so wear paint friendly clothes and bring a change!
