I need to get a police clearance check done, which requires fingerprints. If I lived in NSW, I could simply rock up to the police station, any police station, any time, and they’d take my fingerprints. NSW refuse to do it though, because I don’t live in NSW.
So, instead, here in Hopeless Stan’s uptopia, I have to make an Appointment, to get my fingerprints taken at the City Watch House (and ONLY there)
I can only make an appointment between 8am and 4pm, on Business days.
and the first available appointment is at the end of June.
Maybe some of the AFP members who frequent this site may be able to advise why it’s done in this manner? I keep telling myself “there must be a reason, i’m sure they do it this way because….”
I just can’t think of what the because is.
Any ideas ?
