With the forecast looking strong this weekend, there’s no better time to get out and about to local sport and fortunately, there’s a lot happening in Football this weekend.

The ActewAGL Junior League is reaching it’s backend as we head towards finals, and the grounds around Canberra will be awash with colour once more. If you’re out at a ground, send in a photo, especially if your Son or Daughter picks up a Guzman Y Gomez Player of the Match Award!

In Capital League, the Premiership race is coming down to the final day, with O’Connor Knights taking on ANU at ANU Willows, looking to topple last years Grand Final winners to take the top of the table. You can catch all the action from 3pm, and see all the fixtures here.

In the Playstation4 National Premier Leagues, Canberra Olympic claimed the Premiership this week, but the top four race is still well and truly on. Gungahlin United, Tigers FC, Tuggeranong United and Canberra FC are all fighting for two spots, and it’s coming down to the final two rounds. The match of the Round sees Belconnen United host Tigers FC on Saturday night at McKellar Park, live on BarTV Sports from 5:30pm.

The action continues on Sunday with two big matches, and you can read a full preview here.

Belconnen United took out the PS4 NPL Women’s Premiership last weekend before taking out the Federation Cup midweek as well, but much like the Men’s competition the finals race is hot! Second place to fourth place can still all switch in the final three weeks, and Gungahlin v Tuggeranong & Canberra FC v Woden-Weston are shaping as big match ups this weekend. Full preview here.

So get out and about to support some local football, and check back this time next week to find out what is happening next weekend on the final day of the Men’s Premier League season.
