ANU will face O’Connor in the Capital League major semi-final on Saturday.

It’s finals time in Canberra Football, with all our Community leagues reaching crunch time in their season. The University of Canberra will play host to two massive Capital League match ups on Saturday afternoon at 1:30. ANU will take on O’Connor Knights in a rematch of last weekend’s Premiership decider with the winner progressing straight to the Grand Final and the loser getting a second chance, while Weston-Molonglo and Canberra Olympic will face off in the sudden death semi-final.

In the Playstation4 National Premier League Men’s, we have reached the final round and the last spot in finals is up for grabs. Tuggeranong United will take on Monaro Panthers on Saturday needing nothing less than a win to give themselves a fighting chance at the spot. If they win, Gungahlin United will need only a point from their match with Canberra FC on Sunday to secure their spot, but a loss would give Tuggeranong the spot and their first finals berth in over a decade.

In the PS4 NPL Women’s, three teams are still in the running for second place in the penultimate round of the season. Gungahlin can knock Woden-Weston out of the running if they win against Monaro early on Saturday, and that will leave them up against Canberra FC on the final day to potentially decide the spot.
