Simon Corbell has announced a doubling of the GardenSmart rebate to $100.

“The increase to this rebate will help more Canberrans to increase the water efficiency of their gardens with water saving equipment,” Mr Corbell said.

“The rebate is available to any Canberrans who buy water saving products like drip irrigation systems, tap timers and moisture sensors, following a free consultation session.”

The ACT Government offers a free GardenSmart service to help ACT residents maintain a healthy garden without using too much water.

A qualified horticulturist provides practical, professional tailored advice on design and plant choice as well as watering and maintenance options. To assist residents to put this advice into action, a $50 rebate on selected water-efficient garden products is normally available. Participants have up to six months to claim their rebate.

If you want to get involved there’s contact details on the Gardensmart page.
