If his family are not a good influence on him, as people have hinted, perhaps this is no bad thing.

This sad saga does go to show that if you come from a disadvantaged or problematic family, it is very hard to change your mindset and grow up to be a different kind of person to your relatives.

That’s priceless. Goulburn’s taken out a restraining order against Carney! Country towns tend to be very proud of their successful sporting sons, so he must *really* be on the nose for them to do that.
