Avani Terraces - Greenway
Life is looking up

Have you been consumed yet by rising anger?

By johnboy - 13 May 2009 30

The Voice Of America, no less, reports that anger is rising over the kangaroo cull taking place at the Army’s Majura training range.

Nikki Sutterby from the Australian Society for Kangaroos is particularly concerned about the damage being done to the ‘roos family groups.

To really balance the piece VOA have a picture from Victoria of a ‘roo with an arrow through its head.

Personally I’m sensing deep and intense dis-interest in the process.

I am so consumed with rising anger that I just want to go out & shot a hippie protester. Can I get a permit to do that? As there isn’t enough greenery for all of them due to their numbers being to high. People this is a serious problem, think of the children, why won’t anyone think of the children.

Anger rising where? So a couple of salad eating, hair shirt wearing vegan knob-ends get their panties in a twist about the implementation of sensible government policy. Big deal.

I love kangaroos, but I couldn’t eat a whole one.

I could. Yum!

I could, except for the eyes. I can never get them to stay on my fork…

meh. Kangaroos starving to death would provoke a far greater outcry. cruel to be kind is better than torture and misery.

I love my Macarthur Kangaroos; their fuzzy little faces watch us with suspicion each morning as we (the dogs and I) proceed on our daily run (I’m a city girl, so they are still a real novalty for me). I must admit though that there seems to have been a population explosion down our way, and I worry about their being enough food to sustain the horde. Culling, while unfortunate, seems to be a case of being ‘cruel to be kind’. And I hardly think the Americans can talk.

It’s the golden rule of all you can eat: don’t fill up on bread.

I’m angered by the waste of a training opportunity for Army snipers.

Done properly, skippy would have been minced into tucker for puppies before the hippies got out of bed.

Only because you’re filling up on useless salad.

I’m angry about all the attention this issue is getting.

Quick, thin out their numbers! (no, not talking about the roos…)

There really must be lots of Americans out of work, they have nothing better to do than speculate how mad us Aussies are getting.
