UPDATED: Missing 11-year-old has been found

UPDATE, 2 pm: Police have announced Ava has been found safe and well and have thanked the community for its help.

THURSDAY: Police are calling for the community’s help to find a missing 11-year-old girl.

Ava Milliken has not been heard from since about 6 pm on Wednesday (1 February) and was last seen at Cooleman Court in Weston Creek, ACT Policing said.

Police described her as being of Caucasian appearance with long, dark brown hair, blue eyes and of slim build.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a grey shirt, grey track pants and black Converse shoes.

Police are concerned for Ava’s welfare. If you have information that could help police find her, contact ACT Policing Communications on 131 444 and quote reference number 7340923.
