11 MAY, 8:45am: Good news, Canberra, Jeffrey Friday has been found safe and well.
10 MAY, 2:30 pm: Police need our help to find missing 16-year-old Jeffrey Friday.
He was last seen in Narrabundah, and has not been heard from or seen since about 1:40 pm last Friday (6 May).
He is described as being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 175cm (5’9″) tall, with bleached blonde hair, hazel eyes and is of slim build.
Jeffrey regularly visits Garema Place in the City, including the area near the Carousel.
Police said it was “out of character and concerning” that Jeffrey had not been in contact with anyone for this length of time.
Anyone with information about Jeffrey’s whereabouts is urged to contact ACT Policing on 131 444, quoting reference number 7103944.
