The talent and flair of Batemans Bay high school students is on show now at the Batemans Bay Visitor Centre, of particular note are selected artworks from the 2018 Higher School Certificate.

Council’s Tourism Marketing and Visitor Services Coordinator Lysanne Cameron says the visitor centre makes for a great venue.

“It’s always wonderful to have the students’ beautiful artwork brightening up the visitor centre and to see the way they interpret their different experiences,” she says.

“This exhibition provides a great opportunity for students to connect with the community and share their wonderful work in a professional exhibition space.”

Students from Batemans Bay High School have exhibited their works within the Land of Many Waters Gallery at the visitor centre for the past two years. The 2018 show includes sculpture, painting, drawing, photomedia, ceramics and printmaking created by year 7 to 12 students.

The exhibition runs until, Tuesday, November 27, entry is free.
