They’re a technical company, naturally they will have a strange culture. I have worked for a range of IT organisations, and generally the more technical, the weirder they are culturally. Hard core techos are a strange, and usually highly opinionated, bunch. Hooray!

It’s all really cool until you remember what this stuff is for. This one looks the part, all we need now is some mecha to mount it on.

And I can only relate second hand experiences 🙂 They must be doing something right to be landing such contracts and, as you said, good on ’em for it.

Can only speak of my experiences spectra… but its always a good thing when the ADF spends money on products made in Australia.

Sanhon: Really? Because I know several people who used to work there who tell a different story (at least as far as the work environment goes – I can’t speak for the resultant products).

I did some work with EOS several years ago, very smart professional outfit, good on em’ their weapon systems are top notch.
