Hi Mossrocket,

Not quite doubling, tickets did increase from the previous show:

– Adults up from $20 to $30
– Concession up from $15 to $20

This has been to cover the substantial costs of flying and accommodating interstate guests and moving to Old Parliament House – in support of the election theme.

I’m not sure if you consider these to be ‘good’ reasons, but I assure you that the whole operation is entirely unprofitable and only sustained through the volunteering efforts of local artists/technicians – including key personnel, such as myself.

Presumably, these people find ‘good’ in:

1. Independent entertainment
2. Community culture
3. Addressing money gripes on RiotAct

This is an old post. I’m sorry for not responding earlier, it’s been a very busy week.

All the best,

Saving up to chip in for Abbott’s PPL???

Is there a good reason why the tickets have doubled in price since the last one?
