Any family looking to upgrade and gain unmatched modern architecture and finishes can’t look past this gem in Weston. This generous corner block occupies over 500 square metres in the manicured and organised pocket of Weston just off Streeton Drive, and only a couple of minutes from Cooleman Court and Mt Stromlo.

Natalie Kokic Schmidt from McGrath Estate Agents Gungahlin emphasises the keynotes of the home are the aesthetics on top of its situational convenience, “The design on the home from the outside is a huge drawcard. You also have the unique feature of having the indoors connect to the outdoors, with every room downstairs having access to the entertaining area outside. There’s a spa bath and outdoor kitchen area which is also very attractive,” she says.

There are also a couple of features on the inside too, “There’s a great master bedroom and upstairs retreat to enjoy as well”, Natalie says.

Let the indoors meet outdoors, with views to boot.

The home is perfect for entertaining and Natalie says the added features typify this perfectly. “I really love the outdoor spa and kitchen area”, she says. And it’s certainly hard to argue with that – surrounding the spa is a neat and robust wooden deck, perfect for a barbecue and some drinks on a sunny afternoon.

Fire up the barbie and jump in the spa – that’s what it’s all about.

Last sold in 2014, the home has been well maintained since then, with certain extra features added in to keep potential buyers interested. “Upstairs [the owners] did turn the living space into a walk-in robe, so it’s a really big walk-in robe!”, says Natalie.

The generous master bedroom combines nicely with the family-centric feel that exudes throughout the rest of the home, and this is what has piqued the interest of potential buyers so far. “The home is suited to a few people”, Natalie says. “Couples are definitely attracted to the master bedroom. Plus young families – there are schools close by which is really convenient. Families with teenagers will enjoy the rumpus room and multiple living areas”, she says.

Crisp, modern interiors and finishes are the icing on the cake.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom with ensuite home also boasts two garage spaces and one carport space. The home features private balconies that are bathed in natural light and generous panoramic views of the beautiful Stromlo landscape, as well as privacy screening both upstairs and down.

Every inch of space has been accounted for despite the vast indoor space, with the sleek kitchen featuring waterfall countertops and a walk-in pantry. It’s these features combined that are already causing a stir, according to Natalie. “We have had huge hits online. This is probably one of the homes with the largest amount of hits online. So far we’re up to 3300 hits on the page so far, and we have had over 50 groups through the door”, Natalie says.

With views like that, it’s easy to understand why this home is so popular.

A room with a view – and it’s one of many, and not a few.

14 Fereday Street, Weston is on sale through McGrath Estate Agents Gungahlin, and offers above $1,249,000 are being considered. To arrange an inspection contact Natalie Kokic Schmidt (0428 082 885) or Jason Anasson (0423 821 138) or click here.
