Canberra’s community radio station 2XX is one of Australia’s longest running community broadcasters, on air since 2 July 1976. Originally broadcasting on the AM band, in 2000 2XX moved to 98.3 FM & in 2005 moved in to brand spanking new purpose-built studios in the new Griffin Centre in Canberra City.
2XX is proud to finally offer radio internships to new volunteers who are champing at the bit to grab the mic & present THEIR OWN programs. Full training will be provided as well as the opportunity to contribute to an established program already on air at 2XX, “Uplift” on Monday nights from 6.00pm.
