The ABC reports that Rebecca Anne Massey, charged with the murder of Elizabeth Booshand outside the Charnwood Charcoal Chicken, was allegedly on her neighbour’s doorstep, knife in hand, the night of the murder:
- “The ACT Magistrates Court has heard Massey’s neighbour, Lisa Patricia Jones, told police the 35-year-old came to the door of her house on the night of the murder holding a pocket knife and said “I’ve just stabbed someone eight times”.
Jones was later asked by her boyfriend Paul Edward Elson to wash the clothes Massey was wearing but she refused.”
This current hearing is into the destruction of evidence, not the main event of the murder trial.
