Interesting evidence from the Charnwood murder

By johnboy - 17 October 2008 9

The ABC reports that Rebecca Anne Massey, charged with the murder of Elizabeth Booshand outside the Charnwood Charcoal Chicken, was allegedly on her neighbour’s doorstep, knife in hand, the night of the murder:

“The ACT Magistrates Court has heard Massey’s neighbour, Lisa Patricia Jones, told police the 35-year-old came to the door of her house on the night of the murder holding a pocket knife and said “I’ve just stabbed someone eight times”.

Jones was later asked by her boyfriend Paul Edward Elson to wash the clothes Massey was wearing but she refused.”

This current hearing is into the destruction of evidence, not the main event of the murder trial.

What’s Your opinion?

MYHO. Answering your post.. You seem to have issues with this case, i kind of wonder if you are in anyway involved yourself. If Canberra is such a bad place why would so many choose to reside there. I myself am from South Aus and we are condemened always as a serial killer state… What a joke. Start having some real idea of the place you live in or move on..

The mouse is on speed, didnt you all notice his ears are stuck up like he is buzzing. The manic grin does not help either.

I’d always assumed something hallucinogenic (thus the huge pupils).

No way the mouse is on Coke.

Hi all!
Canberra needs to be cleaned up from all the drugs, they don’t call telcom tower the big seringe for nothing, when I lived in NSW they would send in the 21st divsion to clean out the drug dealers, I feel most people that live in Canberra have no idea what goes on, they like to believe that it is a great city to bring up children, like I was told before it’s a Mickey Mouse town.

I feel dumber having read your post. Thanks.

Rubuyred, for most people, Canberra is a great place to bring up kids and for the most part the seamy underbelly is pretty well hidden from view.

Are you suggesting that Sydney is managing its drug problems better than Canberra?

Can someone answer this for me…

Some reports are saying the Paul Elson coerced Lisa Jones into washing the clothes and others are saying that she refused. What’s the case?

It really isn’t any wonder Rebecca Massey felt she could go to Lisa’s house as such was her life style.

Considering the case against Lisa and Paul… why on earth are they pleading not guilty???
