The Brumbies have put out a call for enrollments to their July clinics:

Three day-long clinics will run from Wednesday, 14 July through until Friday, 16 July and will cater from children aged between seven and 14 years old (see dates below). Each clinic will be held at Canberra’s Griffith No.2 Oval (Captain Cook Crescent, Griffith).

Last year a capacity 180 school-aged children took part in the clinics, with the sessions focusing on basic skill development, game-based drills, open game scenarios and improving players’ confidence.

The clinics will be hosted by Brumbies Rugby development staff with members from the Brumbies Academy coaching staff and Academy players also having an active involvement across the three days.

In addition to obtaining expert rugby tutelage, those participating in the clinics will also receive a CA Technologies Brumbies supporter rugby ball, CA Technologies Brumbies cap, CA Technologies Brumbies poster and sticker, and lunch.

The clinics coincide with the mid-season break for all ACT Junior Rugby Union (ACTJRU) competitions (Saturday, June 19 – Saturday, 24 July) and are available to all interested participants, not just ACTJRU registered players.

Players wishing to participate in the July School Holiday Clinics should download a registration form from the Brumbies Rugby website – www.brumbies.com.au – and fax or email it to Adam Fahey on (02) 6260 8591 or a.fahey@brumbies.com.au.
