Today Unearthed Review is tapping its toes to the Jilted Hoodz Redemption.
“We bring it back like a new age artifact….with the Rocking-Steady-Evil Hocus-Pocus;- Note the open focus of our dope-rich opus… Causin’ contortions, of horrible proportions. Global problems, revolve and de-volve upon thin immoral axis’s, sinnapses impact with madness, galaxies collapse, as un-imaginable erruptions of corruption, summon anarchists to bust that ruckus; To conduct the connundrum..Givin’it to the fools that never won some. —————————————————————————————–And our hectic rhetoric, turns fools into epileptics, our style is eclectic, perhaps eccentric.. But at no deficit of freshness, don’t fight it, just let it and rip it, wet it and flip it-and make sure you don’t forget this shit. We bust this shit – For the love of it, for the f*** of it. mmm de-luscious. This unlikely alliance of two random A.C.T mysterious, musical miscrients: That haphazardly exact abstract sophisticated underground sounds and tracks. —————————————————————————————– Agent One :- Bagdad —————————————————————————————– 28 year old, multiple musical skills, styles and competentcies. Began mixing records in early high school and several years of classical guitar. Then turned electro-sexual and began producing original electronic material, getting baked and breaking beats. —————————————————————————————– Agent Two :- Miss Spilla Abrupt —————————————————————————————– The mis-understood,- Miss under-the-hood. 25 years on earth. Subliminal bustar, classical composer and bringer of Darkist- soundwave transmissions and wickedly- twisted symphonies. .. < <..
Ummm. OK then.
When the randomiser pointed me at a dance electronic act with no photo or bio I’ll admit my heart sank.
Some have accused me of having a bias against electronic acts.
I think the bias is more against the way the electronic music medium makes it easy for every poser in their mum’s spare room to flood the channel with their dribblings.
Jilted Hoodz Redemption on the other hand, are really rather good.
Up here in the eagle’s nest it soon had toes a tapping.
Yes there’s the dreamy ambience of electronica, but there’s some drive as well. The music’s on a journey, not going around in circles.
Really worth checking out.
